How do you prepare a stew without preparing a stew? It’s easy if you have all the ingredients you need and our rice cooker. Never has it been easier to eat grandma’s home cooking.

Ingredients
- 400 g beef for stewing
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- ½ onion
- 1 chopped clove of garlic
- 1 potato
- 1 carrot
- 200 ml meat stock
- 200 ml tomato (you can use fried tomato sauce but we recommend traditional style or crushed)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch of ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
- Add the oil, garlic and onion to the rice cooker and set to “Quick cook” to make a sauté.
- Open the rice cooker after 10 minutes and add the diced beef for stewing. Stir until it starts to turn golden brown.
- Added the diced potato, cut carrot, stock, tomato and bay leaf, and set to “Stew”.
- After 15 minutes, you can add a pinch of salt and pepper, as well as the cumin.
- When there are 10 minutes left, you can add more salt to taste.
- Serve with white rice or on its own and enjoy.
