- 2 cups of Basmati rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- Optional:
- A few saffron threads (3-4)
Instructions
- Heat half a cup of water and add a few saffron threads to add a special touch to your rice. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes, until the water turns an orangey colour.
- Meanwhile, wash the Basmati rice until the water comes off transparent.
- Add all the ingredients to the rice cooker and set to “Quick cook” mode
- Close the lid and wait for the cycle to finish.
